A Poolside Lunch at The Newly Renovated Disneyland Hotel

I hope your summer is treating you well and if your kids are out of school I hope you are enjoying your time with your kids.  Did you know that you can  have lunch at the Newly Renovated Disneyland Hotel. Most people don’t realize you can park at either the Disneyland Hotel and or Downtown Disney and not even go into the park.

In this post I am going to talk about having lunch  at the pool.  So as you know I love to stay at the Disneyland hotel and recently I had the opportunity to stay at this fabulous redone resort. The best time to go to the pool and or Tangaroa Terrace (which over looks the pool), is lunch time when all of the restaurants in the park are busy and full.  I go back to my room and put on my swim suit go for a quick splash in the pool then order lunch by the pool. Or if I’m not a guest of the hotel I still have the option of eating at Tangaroa Terrace.

You have many choices you can grab a table or lounge chair by the pool or you can rent a poolside cabana like we did. Then wait for the waitress to come by and look at the menu and order a nice fruity drink while perusing the menu. Did you know that there are many gluten-free options available pool side at The Disneyland Hotel Pool. The pool is always a pleasant 80 degrees whether its summer, spring, winter or fall . Plus the food is delicious!

I ordered the Asian chicken salad with diced chicken breast, cashews, and red and gold peppers tossed in sesame vinaigrette.

Miss J had the Grilled Salmon Kids meal which is one of there Gluten free kids meal options.

The next time you  are looking for Gluten Free Options and or recipes at Disneyland or inspired by Disney come  by my site Cooking Underwriter. The next time you are a Disneyland and have the urge to exit the crowds on a hot summer day. My suggestion is jump on the monorail and  go to the pool at The Disneyland Hotel and grab a bite!

I also love visiting Walt Disney World which I believe is also full of magic wonderful memories. I haven’t visited Walt Disney World as many times as I have Disneyland but I always have fun when I go.
