EPCOT – Journey into Imagination with Figment

Attraction – Journey into Imagination with Figment

Age of Child  – 6 months to 18 months – various trips

Experience – At 6 months, this attraction could be considered a bit jumpy.  Though most of the attraction is okay, my best friend’s daughter did not enjoy the “scent” pumped into the ride.  She screamed on her first time through this ride at 6 months.  If your child is sensitive to loud noises, scents, the dark, or air blowing in their face, this may be an attraction to skip.  With that said, my son never (6, 13, and 18 months) reacted adversely and at 18 months, he loved the attraction.  With the song “One Little Spark” playing for the majority of the ride and that cute little character, Figment, this is a great attraction for younger children who are not sensitive to these issues.

If you are concerned that your child might not enjoy this cute ride, a good plan would be to watch a ride video on you tube.  For any attraction, you will most likely be able to find a good overview or even a full video of the entire ride.  I would tend to think this would be an okay attraction for most youngsters and since I have never seen a line, it’s a great way to have a walking break while you’re on your way through a very spread out park.
